As soon as #EIG buys up a hosting company, it immediately deteriorates due to #EIG converting the GOOD hosting company over to their ONE large, terrible mismanaged call center.

Once EIG gobbles up a hosting company along with all of it’s clientele, the clients begin to complain with total frustration and anger due to continuous long down times and lack of technical responses to critical issues because now major issues are no longer getting resolved like they use to under the original management (the client has NO idea that their former hosting company has been bought up by EIG)!

EIG has REPLACED ALL THE QUALITY FORMER TECHS and now ALL calls – ticket issues are directly funneled into ONE central call center of totally INEXPERIENCED – LOW END know nothing/do nothing worthless techs! SEE LINK:

Just when you think #HostGator can’t get any worse, something like this happens. my sites were down for a week, HostGator couldn’t explain what happened and when it’s all said and done, admits it’s their fault.

What’s worst is that they extorted me into registering for #SiteLock which did nothing except for charge me. Hell, SiteLock wasn’t even required, as there was nothing wrong with my files or SQL to begin with.

This brings up the questions of a conspiracy between SiteLock and HostGator (as well as EIG by ownership). This is something that I’ve been doing some digging around into and is going to be the subject of my next blog post.

Kurien Abraham I think ASO will need some serious reputation management fairly soon. Review posted on BBB. I will now demand that refund. Moved all sites to Amazon AWS. Had VPS for two years with these guys. Progressively gotten worse and support staff has no clue. ASO, consider refunding customers for the hassle and leaving the hosting business entirely.

Nawshad Jamil My 2 VPSs and more than 150 sites down for over 56 hours now. Nobody even replying to ticket posts any more. Chat takes hour to reach a rep and then nothing useful happens. Lost half of my hosing client already.

Jeff Glowacki ASO has a package for everyone starting at only $2.95 per month! I’m on a bit more expensive package, but I can assure you that ASO had a package for me. As this is my busy time of year, I’d say their painful package that was delivered to the backdoor has cost me at least $10k so far. Not to mention considerable embarrassment. Anybody know of a good hosting outfit?
